When Placeit is the better pick. Honestly.
No tool wins every case. Choose Placeit if:
- You mostly need mockups and social templates rather than a new logo. Their library is far larger than ours and covers apparel, print and print-on-demand in depth.
- You need video templates. Placeit includes ready-made video alongside the images, which Logofai does not produce.
- You want one subscription to cover a year of marketing assets. At $89.69 a year with unlimited downloads, the volume is hard to match.
The licence is the real difference
Placeit gives you scale that we do not try to match: nearly 24,000 logo templates, the largest mockup library in this comparison, merch and print-on-demand coverage, video templates and design assets, all for $89.69 a year with unlimited downloads. If your work is mostly producing marketing assets rather than creating an identity, that is strong value and the right tool.
The trade-off is written into their licence, and it is unusually clear. Envato keeps ownership of the templates and grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license. They state that they cannot warrant trademark protection in any country, because the templates are available to every user on a non-exclusive basis, and they prohibit redistributing a template as stock or in a tool. For a logo, which is the one asset a business needs to own outright, that matters more than it does for a social post.
Logofai starts from the other end. The mark is generated for your prompt, you own what you generate and may use it commercially, and the mockups are produced around your own logo rather than picked from a library.
